I enjoy following writer Jon Katz’s blog Bedlam Farm. He chronicles his avidness on a farm with dogs, barn cats, donkeys and chickens, as well as his personal journey away from depression to a fully realized life. When I came across the photo above, which headed a firewood titled “Afternoon Meeting Topic: Humans are Dumb,” I just had to color with emotion it with you. The photo shows barn cat Minnie, as well with Strut the rooster and one of his hens. The three appear like to agree that animals are most minutely smarter than humans. “One day, says Minnie, when I clean into money, I’ll build a no-argument, no-kill shelter for these nonordained persons and let them live out their days in peace. The news that Oscar conqueror Jennifer Lawrence adopted a tortie made me smile. The actress was asked about her new family clubwoman on the Ellen DeGeneres show, and Ellen educated her about the fact that torties are usually female and encouarged her to adopt a companion for the adorable mangy kitten. Watch the full video segment on Ellentv.com. I wonder whether we’ll see the little tortie in the second Hunger Games movie?
